ECO STEEL PROYECTOS, ESTRUCTURAS Y CONSTRUCCIONES S.L.U. es una empresa de construcción ECO STEEL PROYECTOS, ESTRUCTURAS Y CONSTRUCCIONES S.L.U. is a construction company with extensive experience in the world of steel, metal structures, locksmithing in general, stainless steel, galvanised steel, we are OFFICIAL APPLICERS of fireproof mortars and intumescent paints, rehabilitation and restoration of buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping centres and sports facilities. It faced several challenges that hindered its growth. Inventory management and product logistics in its warehouse were complex and messy processes, leading to a lack of control over its stock and difficulties in managing its construction works. In addition, the tracking of tools and fixed assets was a constant challenge.

Inventory logistics

To address these challenges, Ecosteel decided to take a bold step and opt for the implementation of Odoo, a comprehensive business management system. The company switched from using the community version of Odoo to the Enterprise version to take full advantage of the additional capabilities it offered.

Inventory management: The first step was to carry out a comprehensive inventory count of all products, tools and fixed assets in Ecosteel's warehouse. This was updated and efficiently uploaded into Odoo, allowing Eco Steel to have precise control of its stock through the inventory logistics module.

Purchasing and Logistics Optimisation: Ecosteel leveraged Odoo's purchasing module to streamline product registration and the inventory logistics module to manage distribution to construction sites, warehouses and more. This resulted in a marked improvement in the efficiency of its operations.

Tools and Assets Control - GIB

GIB, una aplicación nativa interconectada con las funciones de Inventario, Contactos, Proyectos y Empleados de Odoo. Mediante a Odoo  Ecosteel facilitó el control de herramientas y activos fijos de la empresa mediante el uso del módulo de GIB (Gestión de Inmovilizado y Bienes). Esto ayudó a evitar pérdidas y a mantener un registro claro de todos los activos.
